ActivityisMedicine Physiotherapy

Health and Safety

Our Commitment

ActivityisMedicine is committed to providing a safe environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. We take health and safety seriously and have robust policies and procedures in place to minimise risk.

Clinical Standards

All our physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). We adhere to the highest clinical standards and follow evidence-based practice guidelines.

Infection Control

We follow strict infection control procedures in line with current NHS and government guidelines. All equipment is cleaned and sanitised between patients. Hand hygiene is maintained throughout all clinical interactions.

Exercise Classes

Our Strength & Balance classes are conducted in safe, accessible venues. All participants undergo an initial assessment to ensure the programme is appropriate for their needs. Classes are led by qualified physiotherapists who monitor participants throughout.

In the event of an emergency during a class, our physiotherapists are trained in first aid and emergency procedures. All venues have emergency protocols in place.

Home Visits

For home visit appointments, our physiotherapists carry out a risk assessment of the home environment prior to treatment. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a home visit if the environment is deemed unsafe.
